I have downloaded your demo from Aminet, I say to myself finally someone
is making a decent Anime shooter. Though I havn't played TwinBee before
(played Parodius) I like what you're doing! and can't wait to see the
next version on Aminet. One suggestion: r u going to put it on full screen?
I myself is working on a Anime/RPG but it still on the drawing board.
If u like u can check out this site for info: www.talk-101.com/users/asp.
Keep up the good work!!!

Hola! Heeee!, me gusta el juego. Y no parece nada facilon. Me he tirado
Thank you for
supporting the Amiga ;-)

About the GFX.. i think the intro screens could be better, i can retouch
(or make other) if you're interested. Besides.. the game itself is really
cool. i'm suprised with the quality. :)

Hola Mr!

Hello! AmiBee... now THAT'S a game that must be finished! Remember playin'
the original on my NES some hundred years ago ;) Oh, those were the days...
Anyway... Keep the good work up, lad! I'm a Blitz coder myself, and I
can't stop wondering about how you managed to make it so 'fast' :) Looking
forward to a new version; is it close?
I'll just put it on my BBS - NC.Gamez BBS.
I coded DL FaYoh-, wAZiT-, PIV120- and/or PlubZ.lha from aminet. These
are my games written in Blitz. The response has been great on all of'em,
so I guess they're good. wAZiT being the latest one. Made lots of AMOS
games some years ago too (JackMan, Waponez, Shapez, etc
all on aminet). And oh... I've also made an ANSI-editor in Blitz, named
NCEd (V2.11). And I forgot, a WB PacMan game named wACKbAN :)

Cute and fun little unfinished port, this AmiBee.
I'm not going to send you my copy, but the Devo tune sampled and synthed
in
'Neuromancer' is actually "Some Things Never Change", found on the album
"Total Devo". My copy has two mixes, the album and cassette ones; the
game's
intro was much more the cassette version. In fact, I sampled the opening
to
the latter mix and made it into one of my random boot sounds.

Recently I downloaded AmiBee v0.85 from Aminet. I find the game quite
nice and amusing. It's great to have such graphics in a shoot'em up. It's
just that in my opinion the game is too difficult, what takes away much
of its playability. Otherwise, keep up the good work, it's going to be
a great game.

Hello from San Antonio, Texas U.S.A. I just wanted to let you know that
your game came through my BBS on the ADS file distribution network. I'm
sorry to inform you that I had to delete it. The first two screens came
up and pressing S got rid of them. Unfortunaly the game screens never
appeared. The lower half with the score and lives were there but nothing
else. The sound played and I quickly was killed. So since the game would
not play on my system I deleted it.
Hope you can do something with the screen problem.
Shame really sounded like it would be pretty good.

Felicidades y sigue asi !!!!

Hi Mr.Byte,
I saw AmiBee and I'm happy that someone ported a classic from PC Engine.
PC Engine's hardware is nothing to compare to Amiga one (though the best
8 bit on this side along with MSX2 and C64), so there's no reason why
we can't play those games on Amiga. I would like to help you 'cause I'm
a graphician but I never seen TwinBee before... :(

Yo no

versin avanzada.

My name is Scattolin Andrea, an Italian Student of about 21 years old.
I have found your game on Aminet, and I think it will became a very good
game, I enjoyed it. I have something about the game to say you:
-The Player Ship shoots too slow! I suggest you to use a ratio of about
5 shots for second.
-In TwinBee the Player holds the Fire button to load a big shot. I suggest
to implement it.
-The bullets of the enemies goes too fast!
-In the original game the player can use his arms to launch bombs and
can loses them.
-Insert a death sequence, in the game the player when is shooted fall
down and explode.
-Use a bigger playing area, the screen is too small.
-Do not forget final bosses: very BIG and COLOURED!
If you will find a solution to theese problems I think you will program
a very good game. Please send me an E-MAIL to say me more about new versions
and bug fixes.
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD WORK!
Scattolin Andrea
